w3r Consulting, a Southfield, Mich.-based IT consulting and staffing firm, has received a 2008 Supplier of the Year Award from the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).
Of 15,000 eligible U.S.minority businesses, only sixteen are selected as regional suppliers of the year. The awards are given annually to minority suppliers who have distinguished themselves and their businesses by successfully demonstrating growth in sales and employment while overcoming significant obstacles; consistently providing high-quality products and services at competitive prices; and significantly contributing to the growth and development of society in their communities.

The Supplier of the Year Awards will be presented at the 2008 NMSDC Conference Awards Banquet October 29 in Las Vegas. Four of the sixteen recipients will also be named national winners.
